Small grant opportunity for community-minded young Africans concerned about climate injustice CDKN, the Global Landscapes Forum (GLF) and the Youth in Landscapes Initiative (YIL) have launched a small grant call inviting young people in Africa to implement an activity or process that facilitates climate justice in their communities, landscapes or seascapes.

These stories will be collaboratively developed and featured in a publication to be launched at the 28th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28) in November 2023.

Resilience Evidence Forum Registration is now open for the Resilience Evidence Forum, to be held in Cape Town in June 2023. The forum, co-hosted by USAID and the Global Resilience Partnership (GRP), aims to take stock of the latest evidence on resilience and its implications for policy and programming and spark further collaborations and capacity exchange across geographic contexts, sectors and actors.

Elevating the role of water resilience in food system dialogues Ensuring resilient food systems and sustainable healthy diets for all requires much higher water use, however, water resources are finite, geographically dispersed and volatile under climate change. A new paper co-authored by CDKN CEO Shehnaaz Moosa highlights the role of water use in the food system and how good governance is central to achieving water-resilient food systems.
